The food is so good I over eat every time. And still have plenty for leftover for a work lunch. Made fresh to order and friendly service!

I arrive at this excellent place once a month since I love the special air that is part of this restaurant. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably helpful and professional. The service is extremely fast. Not to mention, the food they cook is magnificent. I have been there more than once and I was never disappointed. The pay is fair. I highly suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

I called for take out, got Ho Ting Egg rolls and chicken lo mein( medium spicy). Absolutely delicious and cooked well. If I had one comment about anything is the odd sauce that came with my order? No idea what it was and was very powerfully tasting and smelling. Customer service A+ I recommend this place for Chinese in Eagan.

Food was good no complaints there but service is an issue! They offered no receipt! The excuse was because I paid with cash which is crazy. Needed receipt for expenses. Every establishment should give or offer a receipt.

Horrible customer service! I ordered a shrimp lo-mein but it had beef in it too. I'm highly allergic to beef and so I called them to remake it but the way I was treated for daring to ask them to remake it was so uphauling. I asked for a refund but the manager refused. Finally she said she would remake it and have someone bring it to me but she didn't and I had to call them again. It took over an hour just to get my food. I also asked her to bring some chili sauce in oil but they didn't bring that either. Was not happy with this service at all. I would give them no stars if I could.

Unfortunately we live in an area with very limited delivery options. Ho-Ting is one of the only places that deliver to our house. We called in an order and told all our cards were declined. We had money in all accounts and knew there was something wrong. We politely asked the lady on the phone if she could check if there was something wrong on her end. She fairly rudely snapped at us saying there was absolutely nothing wrong and it was something that was our fault. I get it, but at the same time I expect a person in the service industry to respond more kindly with patrons. We ended up placing an order through Door Dash (at Ho-Ting) and it went through just fine. After this experience and a few times of them getting our order wrong, we will be paying the extra cash to have our food delivered from a different restaurant via Door Dash, Bite Squad, or whatever. Overall the food isn't too bad, not what I would call fantastic but still edible (hence the two stars).

Very good food and service always keeping your glass full of water and always keeping the food full on the buffet. once was the only customer in there eating a buffet on a cold day and they still kept it full and stocked

Great egg rolls and sesame chicken!

DO NOT order chicken/beef dishes. I've ordered twice and the ratio of chicken to vegetables is 10%/90%. Total rip-off.

The food was amazing. The store was aesthetically pleasing. It was tidy. The service was great. The staff was friendly. However it was pricy and you don't get much. Other than that, I would recommend it.

Amazing service, but there are better places for the price

We are on vacation and enjoying ourselves and kiddos decided on Chinese food and kids decided on this place. Staff was amazing! Well above and beyond with food options and help with kids that wasn't expected. Food was amazing perfect portions

We found this gem during Adult Night at the zoo. Fabulous fresh veggies made to order. We love the garlic chicken and broccoli. The chicken egg fu yung is the best of the twin cities and surrounding area. It's now our go to for Adult night at the zoo! Awesome unsweetened tea and fantastic service!

$14 for a small paper takeout container of beef noodles!! And the person taking the order was rude too. The price went up and the service went down for this place. Never again.

All the perfecr versions of old standby buffet foods like General Tso's, egg rolls, cheese wonton, chow mein, hot and sour soup, and pot stickers. Wonderful service too.

Could’ve been better. This was a pickup Order $50 worth of food everything else was just fine! These however.. not the best.. they actually gave me my money back for the egg rolls. We couldn’t even eat them the smell alone was overwhelming. First time trying them ... probably just gonna stick to crystal jade.

While their location is a bit older, and their shop may seem a bit on the small side, the food is more than delicious. Everything is made to order with home made sauces and dishes. The atomosphere could for sure use an update and their pricing is a bit on the high side, a few things to look out for. Make sure to try out their friend rice and garlic beans!

Staff is always extremely pleasant and has consistently exceeded expectations in providing great service and delicious food. I've taken dates here and been told their orange chicken is the best they've ever had! The price is relatively expensive for the typical Chinese joint, but I say they earn it.

It was awful. When our orders of fried rice came, we noticed a strong cigarette smell. I took a couple bites of mine, and it tasted like cigarette ash. It was just awful. We sent it back, paid for our cokes and wontons, and left.

I surprised my wife with lunch from Ho Ting. The service was excellent, they even took my takeout order before they were actually open. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Then, I had to take her into the emergency room for food poisoning which she suffered for several days. Shame on you Wash your hands

I love the food here! They have the BEST cream cheese puffs. They are quick, easily accommodate any requests, and everyone is always very friendly when I go in. The inside is very small, best for their lunch buffet. But take out is great, I've been here many times and recommend to my friends all the time!

This is where I order from to have it brought to work. Always hot and fresh. My coworkers and I know we are valued as customers. Many restaurants make me feel sick aftewards because of the grease but I've never gotten sick here. I like to get many of the chicken dishes, my coworker always gets the Jumbo Shrimp Fried Rice and Chicken Lo Mein. Never a problem. Glad to give my business to local small businesses!

Basic Chinese. Nothing special

Recently ordered take out from Ho Ting. Had Singapore style noodles, vegetables with tofu and Generals Chicken. The food was good. Especially enjoyed the veggies, the sauce was better than what I typically eat.Singapore was really good, lots of spice and curry flavors. I ordered it without pork or shrimp, they happily substituted chicken to accommodate my request.The generals chicken was flavorful. They add veggies. To the dish, which is nice. I would have preferred my chicken a bit more crispy, but it wasn't bad. They threw in a generous portion of white rice and some sheer cheese wonton.The staff are fantastic. It's a family operation, kids were there helping and doing homework at the same time.I would recommend Ho Ting, I plan to go back.

This place is worth a try. They have big portions for reasonable prices. Constantly well kept and with fantastic atmosphere. Will come back again.

Good chow mein and egg rolls here. Their fried rice isn't what it should be though.

I have only had their egg rolls and all I can say is they had very little chicken in them and the sauce that comes with the egg rolls tasted like French dressing.

Having tried just about every chinese take out ive seen I can say ho ting is one of the worst. Very kind employees and great cream cheese wontons but rice tasted burnt twice and the chicken lacked flavor/was stringy and chewy (especially considering the price, $13 for a special combo with veggie rice) Wont be coming back forsure
